Meet Toni and Tom Dean. For the last eight years, these two have donated their time to be stake boat volunteers for both nights of the Parade. Last year they won the volunteer grand prize Holland America cruise and plan to set sail in March to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! Congratulations, Toni and Tom!
“We have made a lot of fun memories volunteering for this event. The Stake Boat Dinner thrown for those involved usually happens in January and we always look forward to that. Also, most years we get to our spot and anchor early in the day with a group of our friends on board. We immediately start eating and drinking hot chocolate, something we look forward to each year.”
